Investment Minister: Qatari investments are a top priority

Investment Minister Ahlam Madani Mahdi Sabeel discussed with a delegation from Madoun, the Qatari investment company, the areas of Qatari investments in Sudan, particularly in real estate, tourism, hotels, and banking in the Red Sea State and several other states in Sudan, with capital exceeding $150 million.
Ahlam, according to the Sudan News Agency, praised the efforts made by the State of Qatar in Sudan and the distinguished relations between the two countries, especially in humanitarian aspects.
She stated that her ministry gives top priority to Qatari investments, calling for enhanced cooperation between the two countries.
Ahlam also indicated the Ministry of Investment’s readiness to receive investors’ applications across various sectors, including agriculture, industry, and services.
She explained that the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation has set ambitious plans for the transitional phase, affirming that the Ministry of Investment spares no effort in attracting more investments to Sudan to rebuild what the war has destroyed.
For their part, the Qatari delegation appreciated the efforts made by the Ministry of Investment to attract investors, noting that the upcoming periods will see the company operating in Sudan.
