Israel Launches ‘Most Violent Attacks’ Against Iranian Sites in Syria
Sudan Events – Agencies
Central Syria experienced Israeli attacks late Sunday to Monday, considered the most intense in years. These strikes, occurring in four rounds, targeted Iranian military sites.
While Syrian official sources announced the death of at least 16 people due to the Israeli raids targeting “military sites” in central Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the death toll rising to 25, including five civilians, four regime soldiers, two Hezbollah members of Syrian nationality, 11 Syrians working with Iranian militias, and three unidentified individuals, along with at least 32 others injured.
Officers from forces in the region, working at the Scientific Research Center, told the Syrian Observatory that the center has no connection to chemical weapons. It is home to officers from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and has been working for six years to develop precision short- and medium-range missiles. This year, it began working on the development of drones.
