Directives from Jaber Regarding the Winter Agricultural Season

Member of the Sovereign Council and Assistant Commander of the Armed Forces, Marine Engineer Advisor Ibrahim Jaber, was briefed on the progress of the agricultural season in the Al-Dabbah locality in the Northern State and the efforts made to ensure its success.
On Wednesday, Jaber met in his office in Port Sudan with the delegation of the Al-Dabbah locality, led by the coordinator of the delegation, Mohamed Sayed Ahmed Sar Al-Khatim Al-Jakoumi. The meeting discussed issues of concern to farmers.
Jaber directed the necessity of good preparation for the agricultural season through the use of improved seeds and fertilizers, and to expedite preparations for the winter agricultural season. He also emphasized the completion of the electrical converter for the city of Al-Dabbah.
In a press statement, the delegation’s coordinator, Mohamed Sayed Ahmed Sar Al-Khatim Al-Jakoumi, said that the member of the Sovereign Council committed to following up on the arrangements for the success of the agricultural season and facilitating everything that would encourage farmers to expand the cultivated area and provide them with production inputs.
Jaber promised to visit the Northern State to observe the work on the ground after the state has become a prime location for wheat cultivation in Sudan.
