Sudan Events – Follow-ups
On Wednesday, the General Criminal Court of Atbara, chaired by a general court judge, sentenced (M.A.M.), one of the collaborators with the rebel RSF militia, to death by hanging.
The court convicted the defendant in criminal case No. 917/2024 under Articles (26, 50, 51/A) of the 1991 Penal Code for aiding and abetting, undermining the constitutional system, and waging war against the state. The prosecution represented the state in the trial.
