Malik Agar, Vice President of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, declared that the war would end by December this year. He urged the international community to focus on rebuilding what the war destroyed and called on ambassadors to provide political and developmental support to Sudan.
Agar praised Qatar’s role in supporting Sudan since the beginning of the conflict, contrasting it with some other influential nations that have hesitated to back Sudan. He also pledged to implement the recommendations of the Arkuweet Declaration, which came at a critical juncture for the country.
