Sudan Events – Agencies
Lebanon’s Hezbollah announced in a statement that its members targeted Israel’s Nahal Gershon base on Thursday with drone swarms in response to the “enemy’s aggression on southern villages,” according to the German news agency. Meanwhile, an Israeli drone bombed the southern town of Maroun al-Ras on Thursday afternoon. Israeli artillery also shelled the outskirts of Alma al-Shaab village and the Al-Labouna area in Naqoura in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s official National News Agency. The border regions in southern Lebanon have seen an exchange of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah since October 8, following Israel’s declaration of war on Gaza, and Hezbollah’s subsequent declaration of support for Gaza’s residents.
