Minister of Agriculture Reviews Export Procedures for 400,000 Tons of Beans

Acting Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Abubakar Omar Al-Bushra, inspected the southern port in Port Sudan.
The minister reviewed the flow of imports and exports, listened to a detailed explanation from the quarantine office at the port regarding the procedures and workflow, and expressed his satisfaction with the level of performance, noting that exports exceeded imports.
Al-Bushra praised the workers for their role in regulating procedures, affirming his confidence in the quarantine workers, whom he described as the first line of defense and protectors of the country.
The minister also reviewed the procedures for exporting 400,000 tons of beans.
The visit comes as part of his inspection of the departments affiliated with the ministry, which he began by visiting the quarantine department at Port Sudan Airport, Osman Digna Port in Suakin, and the Desert Locust Control Administration in Suakin.
