Three Red Cross Staff Killed in Eastern Ukraine Bombing
Sudan Events – Agencies
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed on Thursday that three of its staff members were killed in a bombing in eastern Ukraine, following Kyiv’s announcement of a Russian attack that targeted the organization’s vehicles. ICRC President Mirjana Spoljaric condemned the attack, stating, “I strongly condemn the attacks on Red Cross staff. It is unimaginable that a humanitarian distribution site would be targeted.” She added, “Our hearts are broken today, and we grieve the loss of our colleagues while taking care of the wounded.”
