Reliable sources reported that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia suffered a massacre during battles in the city of El Fasher on Thursday. The sources revealed that 502 militia members were killed, and 933 others were injured. Among the dead were ten colonels, seven lieutenant colonels, and eleven majors, along with lower-ranking officers.
The sources confirmed that the losses were severe because the militia deployed a massive number of infantry, who were transported to El Fasher in 19 ZS trucks, where they faced an unprecedented disaster and suffered their greatest defeat in the current war.
They also noted that the armed forces and joint forces recaptured the southern hospital and southeastern sector of El Fasher from the militia, driving them out of the city after inflicting heavy losses.
