“Mineral Resources” Supports Hospitals in Al-Butana with Medical Equipment

The Acting Governor of Al-Qadarif, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam, launched medical equipment and devices for hospitals in Al-Butana locality. The equipment was provided by the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company at a cost of 365 million Sudanese pounds, as part of the company’s social responsibility program.
The Acting Governor described the launch of the medical devices, furniture, and solar energy systems for the hospitals in the locality as a service festival aimed at delivering essential services in water, health, and education, which represent vital bridges to three states. He stressed that providing healthcare services is a prerequisite for other services, pledging to provide the necessary technical staff to sustain these services.
Meanwhile, the representative of the community responsibility at the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, Hadi Al-Kinani, emphasized the company’s commitment to protecting the rights of local communities and directing social responsibility funds toward development projects that contribute to their growth. He noted that the company’s projects cover all localities according to a well-studied plan that prioritizes urgent needs, beginning with the healthcare sector in Al-Butana.
Al-Butana locality’s Executive Director, Abdu Al-Sheikh, expressed his happiness with the launch of healthcare projects covering three hospitals in the locality (Gili, Um Sarha, and Al-Sibagh). He highlighted the need for such services, which were distributed based on needs and public satisfaction, adding that there are plans to expand other service sectors. He also noted the close monitoring of services by the locality’s community responsibility council.
