Workshop to Launch the Printing of Checks and Secure Documents in the Northern State

On Tuesday, the Sudan Currency Printing Company, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Sudan’s branch in Dongola, organized a workshop in Dongola to launch the printing of checks and secure documents. The workshop was attended by the representative of the Northern State’s Governor, the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, Amir Hassan Al-Bashir, the Humanitarian Aid Commissioner, Dr. Abdel Rahman Ali Khairi, the Director of the University of Dongola, Dr. Al-Waleed Mustafa Ibrahim, the Director of the Central Bank of Sudan’s branch in Dongola, Fath Al-Rahman Malik, along with the senior management of the Sudan Currency Printing Company, and several bank managers and financial institution representatives.
The Northern State’s representative, Director General of the Ministry of Finance, stated during the workshop that the Sudan Currency Printing Company is one of the leading institutions in printing currency, documents, and certificates with a high degree of accuracy, quality, and required specifications. He emphasized that the company represents a safety valve for financial institutions and government units and renewed cooperation between the state’s institutions and the company to benefit from its capabilities and products. He added that the company’s role will increase in the upcoming period to contribute to the reconstruction and development of the country after the end of the war and the victory of the armed forces over the rebellion.
For his part, the Director of the Central Bank of Sudan’s branch in Dongola stated that the Sudan Currency Printing Company is one of the Central Bank’s distinguished and pioneering companies. He praised the company’s efforts and significant role in printing currency and important documents for various state institutions and commercial companies. He added that the printing of checks and secure documents will significantly contribute to increasing state revenues and preventing the forgery of documents and counterfeiting of currency.
