Consultations for the Sudanese Employers’ Union Elections

Dr. Al-Jumaiabi announced that the Sudanese Employers’ Union, in coordination with the private and commercial sectors, intends to hold transparent elections in the coming months to select a new president for the union. He emphasized the union’s role in supporting the national economy and added that the preparations for the elections will be conducted transparently, without pursuing personal or political gains.
During a meeting with Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, the Minister of Finance, Al-Jumaiabi affirmed that the Ministry of Finance is working in full harmony with the Sudanese Employers’ Union and is striving to address the banking distortions in Sudan, especially in light of the crisis resulting from the war.
Meanwhile, some business owners have suggested Maawiya Aba Yazeed as a candidate for the presidency of the Sudanese Chamber of Commerce, pointing to his extensive experience in commerce and his ability to bring about significant progress in the commercial sector. Al-Jumaiabi expressed his support for Aba Yazeed’s candidacy, citing his broad commercial vision.
