Sudan Events – Agencies
On Friday, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted Israeli military bases and barracks with “volleys of Katyusha rockets” in response to Israeli airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon.
In successive statements, the group said it launched “volleys of Katyusha rockets” at at least six military bases and barracks “in response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe homes.” The Israeli army reported the launch of 60 rockets from southern Lebanon.
In contrast, Israel’s public radio station (Kan Radio) reported that about 150 rockets were fired from Lebanon across the border. The Israeli ambulance service said there were no reports of human casualties yet.
