Investment Minister Discusses Investment Opportunities with Turkish Company

Acting Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Ahlam Madani Mahdi Sebil, met with a delegation from the Turkish company Miri Laiz at her office on Thursday.

The meeting discussed investment opportunities in Sudan, particularly in the fields of energy, mining, food security projects, and reconstruction projects.

The minister stated that the meeting comes as a result of the Sudanese-Turkish Forum held recently in Istanbul, where several companies expressed their desire to invest in Sudan. She added, “We are moving forward with a strategy and policy that considers the historical and cultural characteristics of the countries with which we seek long-term investment partnerships, including Turkey.”

She praised Turkey’s significant role in Sudan.
