Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov accused American billionaire Elon Musk, head of Tesla, of remotely disabling his Tesla Cybertruck, which he claims to have received as a gift in August.
Kadyrov, who has ruled Chechnya with an iron fist for more than 17 years, shared a video in August showing him behind the wheel of a Tesla Cybertruck with a machine gun mounted in the back.
Kadyrov announced that Elon Musk had given him the truck, while Musk later stated on platform “X” that these claims were false.
In a post on Telegram, Kadyrov said: “Recently, Musk remotely disabled the Tesla Cybertruck. It’s not good for Elon Musk to behave this way. He gives expensive gifts… then disables them remotely.”
Kadyrov noted that the truck he received was used in military operations and sent to Ukraine, where it “performed excellently.”
Ramzan Kadyrov (47) shows unconditional support for Russian President Vladimir Putin and confirms sending thousands of soldiers to assist the Russian army in its offensive against Ukraine.
