Cargo Plane Lands at Nyala Airport

Sudan Events – Agencies
Early on Saturday, a cargo plane of the Ilyushin type landed at Nyala Airport in South Darfur, which has been under RSF control since late last year. Two sources in Nyala told “Sudan Tribune” that “at approximately 3:10 a.m., an Ilyushin cargo plane landed on the Nyala airport runway, remaining there for one hour and 15 minutes” before departing westward.
One source said, “The plane was not attacked, even though RSF air defense frequently engages when Sudanese military aircraft fly over.”
