Díaz Brace Leads Liverpool to 3-0 Win Over Bournemouth

Luis Díaz scored two quick goals to lead Liverpool to a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth in the English Premier League on Saturday, helping coach Arne Slot’s side bounce back after a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest last week.

Liverpool were fortunate when VAR ruled out an early goal for Bournemouth due to offside. Díaz threatened the visitors’ goal multiple times before finally netting in the 26th minute, receiving a forward pass and beating goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Less than three minutes later, Díaz scored his second goal, dribbling past five Bournemouth defenders, before Darwin Núñez added a stunning third with a powerful left-footed strike to make it 3-0.

Despite their attacking dominance, Liverpool showed some defensive vulnerabilities, with goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher forced into action, making a crucial save late on after a Bournemouth corner hit the crossbar. However, Bournemouth couldn’t capitalize, and Liverpool secured an easy victory.
