The Umm Al-Qura Observatory reported that the army repelled, on Sunday, a Rapid Support Forces militia attack on the Shaigab area in the Managil locality axis, south of Al-Jazirah State, inflicting heavy losses in military equipment and personnel. The observatory stated that the armed forces fended off an attack from the militia, which had gathered fighters to assault the Shaigab area. The Umm Al-Qura Observatory denied reports that the Rapid Support Forces militia had seized control of the Shaigab area in the Managil axis.
