Development Projects Worth 190 Million Pounds in Dongola

In Dongola locality, contracts were signed for the implementation of development projects in the fields of water, education, and environmental sanitation between Dongola locality and the Northern State Water Authority. These projects include the creation of a network for the Al-Marwah neighborhood in Block 13 in Dongola, along with the installation of a solar power unit and a 600-meter water pipeline. Additionally, there was an agreement to build a pipeline for the Sheikh Sharif water station and implement a solar power unit for the Garada water station. In this context, a contract was also signed with Giad Company to provide garbage bins and build a classroom at the Sheikh Sharif School, funded by the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company as part of its corporate social responsibility. The Director-General of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Urban Development said that the signed contracts include water, education, and environmental sanitation projects, with an estimated cost of 190 million pounds. He emphasized that these projects are a significant step forward for development in the Northern State and Dongola locality.
