Sudanese Sovereign Council Chairman General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan held a high-level meeting with the US administration that included US Intelligence Director William Burns, US Special Envoy to Sudan Tom Perriello, and USAID Administrator Samantha Power.
According to a source who spoke to *Al-Shaab*, the meeting was carefully arranged in advance to determine the course of Sudanese-US relations, discuss ways to end the war, plan for post-war reconstruction, and strengthen cooperation in intelligence and security matters.
