Foreign Ministry: UAE’s Accusations Against the Army of Bombing Its Ambassador’s Residence in Khartoum are “False Allegations”

Al-Ahdath – Reports

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the false allegations issued by the UAE Foreign Ministry regarding the bombing of its ambassador’s residence in Khartoum by the Sudanese Armed Forces, which was denied by the army. In a statement on Monday, the ministry stated, “It is essential to remember the right provided by all laws and regulations for the national army to carry out its duty of protecting the country, its people, and sovereignty against all attacks, and to confront mercenaries and terrorists wherever they are, while fully adhering to international law.”

The ministry added, “These false claims are a desperate attempt to cover up documented international reports exposing the UAE’s malicious role in fueling and perpetuating the war in Sudan and its direct responsibility for the atrocities committed by its proxy, the Janjaweed militia, including crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, genocide, sexual violence, and the enslavement of women and children.”

It continued, “Therefore, it is ironic that the UAE Foreign Ministry speaks of rejecting terrorism and adhering to international law while sponsoring a militia embodying the worst aspects of terrorist groups, and continuing to violate the basic principles of international law.”
