Sudan Events – Reports
The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to statements from some Arab countries, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League concerning what it described as the “false claims” by the UAE government that its ambassador’s residence in Khartoum was bombed by the Sudanese army. The Ministry denied these claims, stating that the building referred to in the UAE’s claims was not a diplomatic property but rather a privately owned Sudanese citizen’s residence, which had been attacked by the RSF. They confirmed that the UAE embassy had relocated its operations to Port Sudan following the outbreak of the conflict, like many other embassies targeted by the RSF in Khartoum.
