Strict Instructions Regarding Dar Mali Gold Mills Market
Sudan Events – Reports
Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi, the governor of River Nile State, announced a comprehensive plan to develop the Dar Mali Gold Mills Market in Berber locality and turn it into a model market. During a surprise visit to address its challenges, he approved establishing a police station in the market, providing it with necessary forces and mobility to maintain security. He also announced plans to establish a health unit in light of the dense population of miners in the market, which requires medical care. The governor instructed that every miner in the state must carry an ID card, issued by the authorities and police, and anyone without one will not be allowed to work.
The governor also ordered the immediate removal of minors from the market, issuing instructions to security forces to strictly enforce this rule. He further directed the swift construction of administrative buildings in the market to stabilize the workforce. The governor expressed his satisfaction with the market’s management, particularly for the significant increase in revenues over recent months, which reflects the seriousness and dedication of the administration.
The state’s Minister of Finance, Amira Ahmed Hassan, announced her coordination with Berber locality to address market challenges. She praised the market administration for its commitment to organizing operations and safeguarding state resources.
