Approval of Several Industrial and Commercial Sites in Gedaref

The Director-General of the Ministry of Infrastructure in Gedaref State, Jaber Babiker Suleiman, affirmed the ministry’s interest in encouraging investment and supporting the region’s thriving processing industries.

During his meeting on Thursday, which was part of the regular assessment committee’s session, Babiker stressed the importance of realistic evaluations that align with programs designed to promote investment, taking into account various technical aspects.

The committee approved several industrial, commercial, and investment sites in different parts of the state and agreed on the approval of residential areas in certain neighborhoods. Several issues on the agenda were postponed, pending field visits and technical discussions to be held at the next meeting scheduled for October 18
