The exchange rates for foreign currencies against the Sudanese pound in the parallel market and Sudanese banks have shown partial changes. The Egyptian pound and Qatari riyal witnessed new increases.
Currency traders reported that the selling price of the U.S. dollar in the parallel market on Thursday stabilized at 2850 Sudanese pounds, while the Saudi riyal remained at 760 pounds. The Egyptian pound recorded a new rise with a selling price of 59.05 pounds. The UAE dirham sold for 776.56 pounds, the euro at 3166.66 pounds, and the British pound at 3800 pounds. The Qatari riyal also saw an increase, reaching 780.82 pounds.
Meanwhile, currency prices remained stable during Thursday’s trading, with Omdurman National Bank offering the highest dollar buying price at 1990 pounds and a selling price of 2004.92 pounds. Faisal Islamic Bank’s dollar buying price was 1985 pounds, and the selling price was 1999.8875 pounds, while the dollar buying price at Bank of Khartoum held at 1982.00 pounds, with a selling price of 1996.87 pounds.
