Guardiola: I Love City… But My Future Is Unclear

Spanish manager Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, said his love for his current team runs deep, but matters regarding his future after this season remain uncertain.
British media agency “PA Media” reported that Guardiola, who has won the Premier League six times and the Champions League once since taking over in 2016, will see his contract expire at the end of this season.
While his contract has been renewed on several occasions just before it was set to expire, speculation about his continuation is resurfacing.
The Manchester City manager said in a press conference on Friday: “I am a part of this club, it has a deep place in my heart.”
He added: “I love this club, and it has always been that way. It can’t be otherwise, given the way they’ve treated me from day one. They’ve given me so much.”
A group of Manchester City fans is planning to raise a banner during the team’s match against Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday, in an attempt to convince the 53-year-old coach to stay.
Guardiola said: “They should send me the bill to pay for that banner; I don’t want them spending money for that reason, but what can I say, thank you very much.”
He added: “I fell in love with this club from my first day here.”
