Iranian Foreign Minister arrives at Beirut airport

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived at Beirut airport today, according to Lebanon’s official National News Agency, marking the first visit by an Iranian official since Israel’s assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and its intensified airstrikes on various parts of the country. The agency reported that Araghchi’s plane landed at Rafic Hariri International Airport, and he is expected to meet with the Lebanese Prime Minister and Speaker of Parliament.
