Pogba’s Suspension Reduced to 18 Months Instead of 4 Years

European media reported on Friday that French player Paul Pogba will be allowed to resume training with his Italian team Juventus starting from January, after his four-year doping suspension was reduced to 18 months.
The former Manchester United midfielder had initially been banned from football for four years after failing a doping test in 2023.
Pogba was provisionally suspended after a drug test found elevated testosterone levels in his blood. Five months later, he was handed a four-year ban, which he denied and vowed to appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
