A delegation from the African Union Peace and Security Council concluded its visit to Sudan.
In a statement, the council mentioned that its delegation visited Port Sudan in a show of solidarity, where they met with the transitional leadership of Sudan. The delegation stressed the immediate need for a ceasefire and the resumption of the political process.
