Gezira State Governor Orders Water Station Damage Repairs

Gezira State’s acting governor, Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, emphasized that water issues are a top priority for his government. He urged the swift conduct of urgent engineering surveys to assess damage to water stations in preparation for rapid repairs and the provision of clean drinking water to rural residents.

The state’s director of water, Mohamed Awad, confirmed that the department is ready to address all damages to the stations, highlighting achievements like the introduction of solar energy to the state’s water wells, which is considered one of the government’s significant accomplishments.
