Harris: U.S. Will Continue Pressuring Israel for Ceasefire

U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris announced in an interview that the United States would continue to “press” Israel and regional countries for a ceasefire in Gaza.

According to AFP, Harris said in excerpts broadcast Sunday from a CBS interview that Washington is working towards a deal that would allow for the release of hostages and establish a ceasefire. “We will continue to pressure Israel and regional leaders, including Arab leaders,” she said.
