Reconstruction Projects Proposed to a Chinese Company

Abdel Wahed Abdel Moneim, Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation for Khartoum State, proposed several infrastructure projects aimed at rebuilding the state following the war to the delegation of the Chinese company “Nantong Huake.”
During his meeting with the company’s delegation in Cairo, he emphasized the positive role that China has played in Sudan’s development projects. He expressed optimism for further financing and implementation of development projects in Khartoum State, aligned with the state’s structural plans and strategic initiatives for establishing factories.
He stated, “We have presented the Chinese company with projects in roads and bridges, the creation of new roads, the maintenance and restoration of bridges damaged during the war, as well as railway lines, metro (tram) construction, schools, hospitals, and the building of state institutions to international standards.”
He confirmed the ongoing efforts to strengthen Sudanese-Chinese relations.
Meanwhile, Hassan Ouhaj, the Executive Director of the Egyptian-Sudanese Economic Integration Group, emphasized the importance of collaboration with Chinese companies and promised to work towards advancing economic relations.
