Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Minister of Information and government spokesperson Graham Abdel Qader denied rumors circulating on social media about relocating the administrative capital from Port Sudan to Atbara.
He affirmed, via the “Official Spokesperson Platform,” that no decision or directive had been issued regarding this matter.
He noted that several ministries had previously been relocated to work from other states according to their functional needs and are currently performing their duties from those locations.
