Around six police officers were killed, and seven others were injured on Thursday due to artillery shelling by the Rapid Support Forces militia on the Police Hospital and Emergency Department in El Fasher.
A police source told Darfur24 that the Rapid Support Forces militia continued its artillery bombardment of the state’s police headquarters, and on Thursday targeted the Police Hospital and Emergency Department, leading to the death of six police officers and injuring seven others, including army personnel stationed around the hospital.
The source added that the militia consistently shelled the central division, increasing the number of casualties among police forces.
