Seven people, including a refugee, were killed, and more than ten others injured on Saturday in renewed RSF artillery shelling on the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur.
Eyewitnesses told “Darfur24” that the RSF shelled the city, causing casualties in the Abu Shouk neighborhood, Nivasha Market, and the South Sudanese refugee camp in the Daqaqai area near Nivasha Market.
Local resident Ismail Abkar told “Darfur24” that the militia fired around eight random shells targeting various parts of Abu Shouk and Daqaqai neighborhoods and Nivasha Market, resulting in seven deaths, including a South Sudanese refugee.
More than 10 others sustained varying injuries and were taken to the army’s Military Hospital for treatment.
