Army receives armored anti-sniper vehicles

A high-ranking military source revealed that the army has received the first batch of armored anti-sniper combat vehicles.
The source told “Sudan Tribune” on Sunday that “50 armored vehicles arrived at the Wadi Seidna military area, north of Omdurman, the day before yesterday.”
He indicated that there will be successive batches of vehicles arriving later.
The military source explained that the specifications of the newly arrived armored vehicles are more advanced than the “Sarsar” vehicles currently used by the army.
He pointed out that the new vehicles are fully bulletproof, equipped with cameras, communication devices, and a DShK machine gun platform with a 360-degree rotating turret and six Kornet missile launch ports.
