Civil Defense forces in Khartoum state extinguished a massive fire at the National Assembly in Omdurman, following an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The Civil Defense forces displayed great professionalism and efficiency in handling the fire, managing to control the situation and extinguish the flames in record time, preventing the fire from spreading, despite continued gunfire and random shelling.
The Director of the Civil Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Osman Atta Mustafa, according to the “Police Press Office,” affirmed the readiness of his forces to handle any events and developments using the latest technological devices for detecting explosives, mines, and improvised explosive devices. He warned citizens and parents to remain vigilant and advise their children to stay away from dangerous areas and suspicious objects left over from the war.
