Expatriates Agency and Refugees Commission Discuss Joint Cooperation

The Sudanese Expatriates Affairs Agency and the Refugees Commission emphasized the importance of cooperation and finding common ground for collaboration in migration and refugee issues. This came during a joint meeting between Dr. Abdul Rahman Sayed Ahmed Zain Al-Abidin, Acting Secretary General of the Expatriates Affairs Agency, and Dr. Musa Ali Atroun, the Refugees Commissioner. The meeting, held recently at the Expatriates Agency, discussed the need to establish appropriate mechanisms to address migration and refugee issues, acting as a link between the state, the Expatriates Agency, and the Refugees Commission, in accordance with state directives and institutional laws. The meeting also recommended holding an expanded consultative meeting in November to discuss details of the joint cooperation and possibly establish the mechanisms needed for this collaboration.
