Governor of Nile River State Praises Gold Revenue Enhancement

The regular meeting of the Nile River State’s Mining Coordination Council was held in the state’s government meeting hall, chaired by the state’s governor. Governor Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi Abd Al-Majid, head of the Mining Coordination Council, called for more coordination among various agencies to advance the state’s mining sector. He praised the significant efforts made by the state office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company in enhancing revenues, improving environmental and administrative aspects, addressing shortcomings, and promoting positive outcomes. The meeting also reviewed a performance report from the state office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, presented by office director Mutaz Haj Nour Muhammad. It also discussed a report on the environment and safety, with the office’s environment and safety supervisor highlighting the office’s efforts in responding to the recent floods and rains that affected the state.
