Expectations of service disruption for “Bankak” on Thursday and Friday

Bank of Khartoum announced that it would be performing upgrades and updates on its systems starting from Thursday until Friday. The bank indicated that some services might be affected during the upgrade process.

In a separate announcement, the bank warned its clients about fraud attempts through the “Bankak” app, stating on its official Facebook page: “Stay vigilant: awareness is the best defense against fraud.” The bank published a formal statement detailing the methods used by scammers, such as messages like “If your account is locked, contact me privately” and “Click on this link to update your information.”
