Senior sources revealed to “Asharq” that the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Army, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, refused to attend and meet with the commander of the Rapid Support Forces militia, “Hemedti,” at the five-nation summit of African regions led by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, scheduled for October 23 in Entebbe.
The sources stated that the Ugandan president canceled the five-nation African summit, which was intended to discuss the war in Sudan.
