Director of Customs Reassures on Work at Customs Stations

Major General Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, Acting Director General of the Sudanese Customs Forces, reassured the progress of work at customs stations according to the general plan set by the forces.

During his chairing of the periodic meeting at the Customs Forces headquarters in the northern port of Port Sudan, attended by assistant directors and heads of various departments, the Director General emphasized that the country’s current situation requires concerted efforts and improved performance. He praised the efforts of his forces and their significant achievements in various states, particularly the seizures of gold and weapons.

The meeting discussed plans to enhance and develop anti-smuggling efforts in the coming period by providing all necessary resources and overcoming obstacles. It also reviewed financial performance reports and cumulative reports related to the Customs Forces over the past months.
