Sudan Events – Follow-ups

The army seized high-precision Emirati sniper rifles from the Rapid Support Forces militia in the Al-Muqran area of Khartoum. According to security sources, the army found Emirati weapons produced by Caracal, including the CSR-50 Bolt Action rifle. In the latest military operation in the Al-Muqran area, the armed forces also seized the high-precision Emirati rifle with a caliber of 12.7×99 mm BMG-50. This rifle is capable of penetrating heavy targets such as vehicles at a range of 1,800 meters and weighs 10 kg. It features Picatinny Rails for attaching various accessories such as scopes, laser devices, and front grips. The rifle provides continuous fire and is a bolt-action type, known for its high accuracy. The manual bolt-action system stabilizes the bullet upon launch and is less prone to malfunctions compared to semi-automatic rifles, offering better control for sniping and ease of maintenance and repair.
