Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Bashara Suleiman, an advisor to the head of the Justice and Equality Movement, said on Friday that Chadian President Mohamed Kaka increased military support for the Rapid Support Forces militia after his recent visits to France and the UAE.
In an audio recording, Suleiman said: “Dozens of planes took off from Chad’s capital airport to Sudanese cities, loaded with drones, weapons, and ammunition, one of which was struck by the Sudanese armed forces.”
Suleiman revealed that the Chadian president attempted to “bribe” Darfur tribal leaders under the guise of “reconciliation efforts.”
He continued, “The Chadian government contacted leaders of the joint forces to abandon their support for the Sudanese state.”
Addressing the Chadian president, Suleiman warned: “You are not safe, and there is a war in Sudan that will inevitably spill over into the heart of Chad unless you stop supporting the mercenaries.”
