Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty reiterated Egypt’s steadfast stance on the crisis in Sudan, emphasizing the need to preserve Sudanese state institutions, respect Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, facilitate humanitarian work, and provide relief assistance, along with all forms of support to alleviate the crisis for the Sudanese people.
The minister held a meeting with the Sudan Affairs Department at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry to discuss the latest developments in Sudan and Egypt’s efforts to restore security and stability in the neighboring country.
The foreign minister listened to an assessment of the situation in Sudan and received a briefing from the department’s leaders on the efforts Egypt is making to support Sudan during this challenging time.
