Formation of the Nile River State Transport and Haulage Division

On Saturday, the formation procedures of the Transport and Haulage Division in the Nile River State were completed. The meeting, attended by around 70 people, elected Nasr Al-Din Elias Al-Tijani as chairman, Adel Sultan as vice chairman, Babiker Waddalsafel as treasurer, and Abshir Ibrahim Hamza as general secretary. Abdul Wahab Omar Yaqoub was elected as deputy general secretary, and Bakri Yousef Ahmed as secretary and legal advisor.
The chairman of the Transport and Haulage Division in the Nile River State, Nasr Al-Din Elias, stated at a press conference that the division was formed to organize, regulate, and manage the haulage operations to and from the state amid the security and humanitarian conditions resulting from the war.

Nasr Al-Din Al-Abadi also revealed proposals submitted by the Sudan Railways Corporation in Atbara to facilitate the work of the Transport and Haulage Division. He mentioned that the railway expressed its readiness to support the division by providing locations for setting up its offices and completing door-to-door transport operations, contributing to the smooth flow of goods and the organization of transportation within the state.
Al-Abadi praised the cooperation of the railway administration with the Transport and Haulage Division in the Nile River State, confirming their joint efforts to restore the economic, national, and social role of the railway system.
