Partnership Between Nile River State and Standards Authority

The government of Nile River State and the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) agreed to strengthen partnerships between state institutions and the authority. They plan to focus on training and raising awareness about standards to improve the quality of local products for global competitiveness. Governor Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi stressed the importance of standards in all sectors, particularly in schools and hospitals, and announced that next year would be designated as the “Year of Quality.”
