Port Sudan Mills to Open in December with a Capacity of 4,500 Tons Monthly

Omar Ali Saleh, Minister of Investment and Industry in Northern State, announced that the Port Sudan Mills will open in early December with a grinding capacity of 4,500 tons per month. He also noted that the daily requirement is 5,500 tons, with Rotana providing 4,500 tons. During an investment forum, Saleh spoke about plans to establish grain silos and mills in Dongola, emphasizing the state’s vast production capabilities. He called on the government to issue decisions supporting investment and addressing issues related to energy and infrastructure. The representative of Rotana Grains Company revealed that the company has storage silos in both Port Sudan and Jili, contributing significantly to resolving the country’s grain crisis.
