Foreign Currency Exchange Rates Vary in Parallel Market

Foreign currency exchange rates in the parallel market saw fluctuations, with the dollar trading between 2,600 and 2,700 Sudanese pounds, the Saudi Riyal between 691.48 and 718.08 pounds, and the Emirati Dirham between 708.44 and 735.69 pounds. The euro and the British pound traded at approximately 2,795.69–2,903.22 and 3,376.62–3,506.49 pounds, respectively, while the Kuwaiti dinar ranged from 8,387.09 to 8,709.67 pounds.
In the formal banking sector, the Bank of Khartoum set the dollar’s buying price at 1,987 pounds, while Omdurman National Bank and Faisal Islamic Bank maintained slightly different rates.
