Local sources in Al-Sirrah, Jazira region, reported that the death toll due to RSF attacks has risen to 141, with over 50 of them killed by slitting. Khaled Al-Ubayd, involved in evacuating the wounded, said the count was compiled in three stages: the initial hours of the attack, bodies found in homes, and those discovered near irrigation canals and fields.
Al-Ubayd reported the deaths of two pregnant women and two infants during displacement. The RSF has imposed fees on evacuating the wounded, totaling 6 million Sudanese pounds for each truck used for evacuation. The RSF has also prevented some civilians trapped in Al-Sirrah from leaving, leaving them facing an unknown fate.
The Jazira Conference, a civil group monitoring abuses in the state, stated that the RSF continued killing detainees from Al-Sirrah, with 11 hostages found slain by slitting after being taken from the village.
